403 BENEFITS POLICY


I. PURPOSE

The purpose of this policy is to clarify when staff benefits are effective during employment.

II. GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY

Staff who are full-time, hourly, and eligible for benefits will receive benefits for their contracted period. Those who do not work in the summer will continue to receive benefit coverage during the summer if they have a signed employment agreement letter.

III. PROCEDURES

A. Anyone who gets benefits through the summer and does not return will get canceled back to 6/30.

B. Salaried teachers/staff who are terminated for cause or who voluntarily resign are paid out and benefits will end on the last day of the month in which they are terminated.
